Bartlett - Died in this city June 14, 1924, Mrs. Susan C. Bartlett, aged 74 years. The funeral services will be held this [Monday] morning at 10 o'clock from Hart's Chapel, Rev. Oliver J. Hart officiating. Interment will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. Friends invited.

Funeral services for Mrs. Susan C. Bartlett were held from Hart's chapel yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Oliver J. Hart, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, conducted the services. Interment was in Fort Hill Cemetery. The following served as pallbearers: P.H. Ryals, R.H. Ryals, H.T. Ryals, Rambert Ryals, J.S. Strozier and J.C. Barnett.
Information for her death certificate was given by W.T. Watson, Supt., Roff Home, Macon where she was a resident. He gives Ala as her POB.
In the 1920 census she is listed as a widow and as a boarder in the W.O. Holloman H/H with her birth place being N.C. It also gave her parents as being born in NC. In 1910 she is living in the H/H of Andrew Ryals and his 2nd wife and listed as mother-in-law. The Ryals pallbearers are from this family. In this census she is listed as being born in Florida with the daughter being born in Ala. In the 1900 census, she is listed in the George W. Snellgrove and his wife Mary H/H as a boarder and being born in NC. I am using NC as POB. Tracing back, she appears to be the widow of John D. Bartlet
