Matthew R. Gailie, a corrections officer for the State of Pennsylvania and former resident of Middletown, died Saturday September 3, 2011 at home. He was 34. The son of Frank Gailie and the late Lynn Gailie, he was born on April 3, 1977 in Middletown, NY.
Survivors include his father Frank Gailie of Pennsylvania; his sister Ariana Gailie of Yonkers; his maternal grandmother Madeline D'Onofrio of Middletown; his niece Caelyn; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wallkill Cemetery at a later date.
