He was born Aug 17, 1896 in Skandia where he resided until 7 years ago when the family moved to Marquette. Mr. Larson was a member of the Methodist Church of Skandia, the Oscar II Lodge and the Skandia Grange. His survivors include 3 sisters, Miss Gertrude Larson, Mrs. May Johnson, and Mrs. Olga Swanson; 4 nieces and 6 nephews.
Funeral services for Emil W. Larson, 54, former resident of Skandia who died early Thursday morning will be held Saturday at 2 PM in the Swanson funeral home with the Rev. Konstantine Wipp, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will take place in Park Cemetery. The escorts will be Alfred and Lowell Johnson and Robert, Eugene, Lloyd and Edward Swanson, all nephews of the deceased.
