Nancy was born in Indianapolis, IN to Edward and Mary Hegarty on September 4, 1936. Nancy met Thomas Condon of Royal Oak (Detroit), Michigan on a blind date. They married in 1960 and started their family a year later in Cleveland, OH. In 1973, the family moved to Richardson (Dallas), Texas where they lived for 26 years before retiring to Mesa, AZ. Tom and Nancy made many wonderful friends, and had many great times while living in Leisure World for 20 years.
Nancy was a devout Catholic and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She volunteered many hours at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital, and enjoyed playing bridge with many of her friends. Although she was a puzzle to doctors, she was indeed a miracle to all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is also preceded in death by her brother Edward "Red" Hegarty, and sisters Agnus "Aggie" Lux and Rita O'Connor, and her husband Paul.
She is survived by son John (Susan) of Durango, CO; daughter, Suzanne Miller (Beau Schissler) of Murchison, TX; son Dan (Jocelyn) of Mesa, AZ,;and daughter Sheila (Cyrus) Blount of Brownsboro, TX; grandchildren, DeAnne (Charlie), Jessica (Chris), Tim, Jennifer (Gray), Pierce, Brenna, Heather and Amber; great-grandchildren, Johnna, Paris, Scout, Cash, Colton, and Parker; sisters, Rosemary "Rosie" (Jack) Adamson, Margaret "Margie" Miller, Maureen Schulz; sister-in-law, Mary Hegarty; brother-in-law, Dick Lux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held in her honor at 11:00 AM on Monday January 14, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa, with a celebration of her life to follow at the clubhouse in Leisure World.
