Sally J. Baldwin was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on Wednesday, January 4, 1939 to Arnold and Ann Wilson. Sally passed on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. She chose cremation.

Service of Remembrance: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 504 W. Bedford-Euless Road, Hurst, Texas 76053. Eulogies will be given by the Rev. Dr. Willard McKiver, Jr., Pastor Carol Spencer, and Ms. Merry Bagwell.

Sally moved to Denver, Colorado, at the age of 7 with her parents when her father was offered a position as a type setter for the Denver Post. Sally graduated from East High School in 1957. She earned a Business Administration degree with a minor in English from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska, in 1961. Upon graduating, Sally worked as an Executive Secretary to the President of a long-haul trucking insurance company for 11 years.

Sally met James A. (Jim) Baldwin through a mutual friend, and the two were married on Saturday, May 18, 1968, which began a marriage of 51 years. After having children, Sally enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom for several years. Once Scott and Kristin were older, Sally decided to re-enter the work force, and was employed as an Administrative Assistant by St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Hurst, Texas, for 18 years.

After retiring from St. Andrew, Sally loved spending more time doing one of her favorite hobbies -- cooking. In her later years, Sally was delighted to be able to spend as much time as possible with her three grandchildren.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Sally is survived by her husband James (Jim) A. Baldwin, son Scott W. Baldwin and grandson Anderson Baldwin, and daughter Kristin A. Baldwin McDonald, son-in-law David Kearney McDonald, and grandchildren Alain and Miles McDonald.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society in Memory of Sally Baldwin.
