Hold Funeral Service for Pink P. Hindman Here Tuesday Afternoon
Funeral service was held Tuesday at 4PM at Manton-Fry Funeral Home for Pink P. Hindman, the Rev. W.R. Zimmerman of Garrett Memorial Methodist Church, assisted by Dr. A.B. White of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery and pallbearers were T.T. Coursey, Roy Jones, Henry Gullick, J.C. Metton, James Hickman and Stanley Williams.
Mr. Hindman who suffered at heart attack at his home, 901 Bonham Street, Monday morning, died on the way to a hospital. He leaves his wife, the former Miss Mattie Golden; a son, H.M. (Pete) Hindman; and three sisters, Mrs. N.F. Spear, Hugo, Oklahoma; Mrs. Roy Fleming, Temple, and Miss Bernice Hindman, Wichita Falls.
Born in Lamar County, May 13, 1889, son of Dave and Isabel Hindman, Mr. Hindman had lived here all his life, and had engaged in the automobile business for a number of years.
