She enjoyed baking and was known for her fried apple and sweet potato pies. Faith was very important to her and she used her talents to honor God in church, which included playing the piano and singing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Marvin Clifton and sister, Esther Golden.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Brown, Gary Clifton (Lyzell), Kathy Lovelace (Gary), Jack Clifton (Sharon) and Penny Leigh Clifton (Gina); 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and special companion, Misty "Mitty" Clifton as well as a large and loving extended family.
