DANIEL W. AKIN
Daniel W. Akin, 65, of 102 Claremont Ave., died Saturday in a Vallejo hospital after a long illness.
A native of California, he had lived in Vallejo 63 years. He was a projectionist for 42 years at Cine 31 and business agent for the International Alliance of Theatrical State Employees and Motion Picture Operations for 37 years. He also was a member of Vallejo Lodge 559, BPOE.
He is survived by his widow, Louise; sister, Mrs. Eva Fisher, St. Helena, a brother, John Napa, two nephews and three nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Skyview Funeral Chapel.
The family prefers donations to the Heart Fund or favorite charity.
