BANGOR - Diane R. Morrison, 68, went home to be with the Lord June 10, 2012. She was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Belfast, the daughter of Lawrence C. and Dorothy E. (Kenney) Burleigh Sr. Diane graduated from Belfast High School. She was employed for many years with the state of Maine. Diane enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking pictures for her Creative Memories for the family. She was a very loving and caring Mom. She always put others before herself and was an encouragement to others. Diane was very devoted to her faith and was an active member of Glad Tidings Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Diane played her harmonica with the Glory Land Band which played gospel music at local nursing homes. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ralph Morrison of Bangor; two sons, Ronald K. Clark Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Belfast and Robert A. Clark and his wife, Kristie, of Corinth; one daughter, Roann M. McCafferty and her husband, Mark, of Belmont; two brothers, Lawrence C. Burleigh Jr. and his wife, June, of Connecticut and Edwin A. Burleigh of Windham; five grandchildren, Jessica, James, Emma, Victoria and Andrew; and several nephews.
