Notes: Before she married Morris J. Campen in 1908, the former Otille Newman taught at Brownell School and Normal School. She also was active in the Euclid Avenue Temple, where she headed the drama group. She was an aunt of actor Paul Newman. Mrs. Campen died, Wednesday in a private hospital at 80. She had lived at 2680 N. Moreland Blvd. Her husband, Morris J., who died in 1963, had been a dress manufacturer. Mrs. Campen's brother, the late Joseph Newman, was a columnist with The Press and an Anvil Revue author. Another brother, the late Aaron W., helped originate the Sportsman's Show here. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Friedman; two sons. Richard N. and George M.; six grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. Gertrude Newman of Chicago. Private graveside services were today at Lake View Cemetery. There will not be any home visitation.
