Warwick- Anna M. "Lem" Jencks, 45, of Guild Avenue died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. A life long resident of Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Merril C. Jencks Sr. and Lillian G. (Maxwell) Jencks. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church. She leaves two brothers, Samuel L. and Stephen H. Jencks both of Warwick, Five sisters, Dorothy M. Miller of Coventry, Barbara L Macera of East Greenwich, Ruth C. Viera of Marietta Ga. Mary E Jencks and Rose M. Vierra both of Warwick. She was the companion of Robert D. Thornton of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Merrill C. Jencks Jr., William E., Robert J., Richard E., and Harold D. Jencks. The funeral will be held Monday at 9a.m. from the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, with a mass of christian burial at 10 at St. Barnabas Church, 3257 Post Rd. Appanoug. Burial will be in Brayton Cemetery, Warwick.
