María Guadalupe Uribes y Cota was born at Santa Bárbara, Alta California, New Spain, on December 14, 1795, and baptized the following day in the Presidio Chapel (BP Baptism 00136). She married José Antonio Estevan García-Romero y Márquez (SD Baptism 01501) at Mission San Gabriel on February 9, 1813 (SG Marriage 01260). She died at Los Angeles and was buried in the Old Calvary Cemetery November 10, 1858.
