Maria U. Santiago "Ursina", age 98, of East Chicago, IN, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Munster Med Inn. She is survived by two sisters: Cruz Maria Rivera of Puerto Rico and Rosa E. (Salvador) Pol of Hammond, IN; one brother, Juan P. (Carmen) Santiago of East Chicago, IN; two sisters-in-law: Lydia (late Andres) Santiago and Arminda (late Pablo) Santiago; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters: Maria Angelica Gonzalez and Maria Candida Mercado four brothers: Jose S., Andres, Nicolas and Pablo R. Ursina wa blessed with a huge loving family that adored her. She dedicated her life helping others. She was a missionary and a Sunday School teacher for 45 years. She also loved to read and write poetry. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
