Larry was born the son of Henry Asman and Anna (Berner) Asman on Tuesday January 29, 1924 in Auburn, Michigan on his Grandfather Berner's farm in the same bed his mother was born in. He was preceded in death by both parents and his only sister, Martha Mullins, his wife, Imogene Waln Asman, daughter, Nila Asman, and granddaughter Faith Michelle Mathiasen. He was living near his daughter, LaVonne, in Belle Plaine, Sumner County, Kansas at the time of his death.
