A Private Funeral Service will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Deacon Michael Dear officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Voices for Children, in JoAnn’s memory.
JoAnn was born in Flint, MI on May 18, 1953, daughter of the late John and Betty (Dolezel) Balcomb. She retired from General Motors in 2020 after 35 years of service. JoAnn enjoyed traveling, watching mystery shows, reading and spending time with her family.
JoAnn is survived by her son, Brian Balcomb; 2 grandchildren, Kendra Blakley and Jordyn Blakley; 2 siblings, Dale (Kathy) Balcomb and Sue Balcomb; sisters-in-law, Carol Balcomb and Ann Balcomb; nephews, Joseph Balcomb; 3 nieces, Mary Balcomb, Christina Balcomb and Sara Burr; great-nephew, Austin Tackebury; great-niece, Bella Tackebury; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Balcomb; 2 siblings, Steve Balcomb and Chris Balcomb and her niece, Chrystal Tackebury.
