Steven P. Rocque, Sr was the son of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Cody) Rocque. Steven was educated at St. Paul the Apostle and Catholic Central High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army from 1970 to 1980. Steve retired as the Protocol Officer from the Watervliet Arsenal after 35 years of service to the Department of the Army. He was an avid New York Giants fan.
Steven is survived by his wife...; two children...; eight grandchildren...; his sister...; two nephews...; and sister-in-law... He was also the brother of the late Leo Rocque Jr.

He was honorably discharged on October 3, 1980 at the rank of SP6 (E-6) and for his service was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2nd award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.
