Richard "Dick" Dean Parkman
78, of Jupiter passed away on March 2, 2017. Dick was born in Attica, Indiana on May 31, 1938. He graduated from Bunker Hill High School in Bunker Hill, Indiana. Dick enlisted in the Marine Corps serving from June 1956 to April of 1958. He married Beverly Faye Brownlee Weaver on 27 June 1959 in Peru,IN had Daniel, Steve, Pamela, Mark and divorced in 1971. He then moved to Iowa and married his loving wife Carolyn on April 15, 1977. He worked as a superintendent for The Weitz Company for 17 years. He then was owner and general contractor of Business Associates, Inc. for over 20 years. Dick loved spending time with his cousin, Jack Kistler, watching Indiana Hoosiers basketball team, hunting and trap shooting. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carolyn Parkman, Brother Davie Parkman, Sister Susie Sischo, Children Daniel, Steve, Pam, and Mark; Step Children Larry, Lori, Becky and Dorinea; 20 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father George, Mother Willa Mae, and sisters Nancy and Patricia. Richard was creamated in FL and his ashes were scattered at Georgetown, IN .
