He was a special agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, deployed to Balad Air Force Base, Iraq. He had served in the US Air Force for 18 years, and was stationed at Balad since August 2007.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Alfred Crowell. He was survived by his mother; his wife; his two children; and two brothers.
Interment on November 13, 2007.
