Margaret H. Adams, 92, of Albany died Sunday at Heart of the Valley in Corvallis.

She was born in Tacoma, Wash., to Joseph V. and Mamie E. (Stedman) Lyons. She was raised in Tacoma and Aberdeen, Wash.

Margaret married R.H. Adams on April 13, 1946, in Milton, Wash.

Margaret had a long career and retired from Civil Service at Camp Adair. She loved hunting, fishing with family, and camping trips.

Margaret was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Albany for many years. Until her illness, she was very active in Amaranth, White Shrine, Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary in Lebanon, where she was a life member.

Margaret is survived by son Steven and wife Linda of Albany; grandchildren and spouses Michael and Susan of Lacy, Wash., David and Kandy of Albany, and Steven and Ruby of Tangent; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, her parents, Joseph in 1928 and Mamie in 1955.

A memorial service will be Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home, 306 Washington St. S.W., in Albany. Private interment will be at Willamette Memorial Park.
