Reasnor - Died on Sunday morning, June 23rd, F. H. Butin, aged 48 years and was buried on Monday the 24th. The funeral service was conducted by Rev.Chambers of the Protestant Methodist Church, at the home, and was largely attended. He was buried in the Hewitt Cemetery east of Reasnor.

Died at his home near Reasnor, June 23, 1895, Francis H. Butin, aged 47 years, 6 months and 15 days.

Deceased was born near Burlington, this state, December 8, 1847. Was united in marriage to Mary Knouse, December 27, 1877, who with one child, Miss Alice, survives. Mr. Butin was an earnest and faithful Christian, a member of the Protestant Methodist Church. He lived for many years in the neighborhood where he died, and always enjoyed the confidence and respect of everybody. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. C.Chambers and the remains interred in the Hewitt Cemetery. ~
