Rick's wife is my daughter and she has asked me to make a Find A Grave Memorial for her husband Rick Wells Davis, my son-in-law. I asked her to write a bio of their life and this is what she wrote...
"Rick Wells Davis was born to Phillip and Betty Davis on July 30, 1959 in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, and he grew up in Burbank, CA.
I, Karen M. Davis was born in Kentucky and in 1966 my family moved from Kentucky to Burbank, California.
Growing up, Rick and I knew some of the same people but we had never met. It wasn't until January 23, 1983 that we became a couple.
Eight years later we were married on July 19, 1991. He is and will always be my best friend. We have two children, Gary Thomas Davis and Brianna Faughn Knodel.
Rick worked hard to provide a good life for us. He always set a good example for our children and was intensely proud of them.
Through the years the people who met Rick came away, better for having met him.
He was honest to a fault. If you needed help he would go out of his way and do his very best to help. He was kind, generous and always happy and it was infectious.
For 38 years I've been blessed to have this wonderful man in my life. At the time of his passing I lost half of my soul. But in my heart I know he'll always be with me and I will be eternally grateful.
On June 8th, this world lost a good man when God called one of his Angels home.
