Son of Raymond and Marjorie Andresen and husband of Justine (Shreiner) Andresen. After graduating from Elkhart High School, he enlisted in the US Navy and served in the Pacific Theater at the end of World War II. He was called up to active duty during the Korean War and following his discharge, he worked for the railroad, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a charter member of Grace Bible Church in Elkhart IN and joined the People's Bible Church after relocating to Goshen IN. His crowning achievement was building his own home and helping his children remodel their homes as well A devoted Christian, he served as a choir director, board member, and song leader in the churches that he attended with his family. He is survived by his 2nd wife, a son and two daughters, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
