Marie died at her home in Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan. She was the wife of Vincent Lambrecht and the daughter of William J. and Clara (Yaeger) Steiner. She married Vincent Lambrecht on August 31, 1946 in Monroe, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1987.

During World War II, Marie served in the Women's Auxiliary Corps.

Marie graduated from Monroe High School in 1941, and from the University of Buffalo, Buffalo, New York. She retired from Warner-Lambert in Buffalo after twenty years as an administrative assistant. She was a member of several organizations in Monroe, Michigan. Her parents and a sister preceded her in death. She was survived by her sister Aurelia Steiner Weipert (#118475466)
