Violet, age 98, a retired school nurse, passed away at her home with her loving family at her side.

She is preceded in death by her husbands William Wershing in 1955, and Robert Tater in 1998.
She is survived by her beloved daughters and their husbands, Hanna DeTar and David, and Eleanor Blumenthal and Bob; grandchildren, Shelby, Monique, Erik, and Arla; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
A private family service will be held.
