Charles Bledsoe of Trinity, Texas, left his earthly home near Trinity on December 28, 2018 to his eternal home in Heaven.

Charles was born July 30, 1931 in Shamrock, Texas, he was the son of Robert and Arvie Bledsoe.

As a young child he spent most of his growing up years in Sweetwater, Nolan County area of Texas. He was class of 1950 from Divide High School. He then joined the military and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Charles returned home in 1954, he met and married the love of his life Patsy Caffey. This marriage lasted 64 years until God called him home. In 1956 the family moved to Big Spring, Texas, where he was employed for more than 30 years at Cosden Oil Refinery. He then took early retirement due to his health. Charles moved to enjoy retirement and he finished his journey in life in Trinity, Texas.

While living in Big Spring, he was a faithful member of Berea Baptist Church. He served his Lord there in many different capacities, as a Deacon, Bible Teacher, Music Ministry and Committee Member. He had many interest in life including fishing, camping out, barbequing on his grill in the back yard. His greatest love was his Lord and his family.

Charles is preceded in death by one son Jack Bledsoe, his parents, one brother and sister-in-law John Bledsoe and Geraldine Jewell.

Charles is survived by his wife Patsy of Trinity, one son Russell of Riverside, a daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Scott Snow of Roans Prairie, grandson and wife Douglas and Elizabeth Walters of Bryan, Texas two great-grandchildren Adrian and Damion of Bryan, Texas.

Charles will be missed by his family. We have Gods promise that we will meet again in Heaven. We will claim that promise until it becomes a reality.
