Kenneth M. Karenbauer, 39, of Butler, died at 11:48 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born February 1, 1965 in Butler, PA, the son of Donald C. Karenbauer of Herman and Carol "Sis" Schiebel Stepp of Butler.

He had been in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting. He had worked at HyTech in Cranberry until he became disabled.

Surviving are his parents; his wife, Heather Reed Karenbauer whom he married May 25, 2001; 1 daughter, Brittney Ann and 1 son, Shane Matthew, both at home; 1 sister, Ms. Connie Karenbauer of York, PA; his maternal grandmother, Margaret "Peg" Schiebel of Sunnyview; 1 nephew, Ryan and 1 great niece, Lindsey; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, his paternal grandparents, his stepfather, Darwin Stepp, and his maternal grandfather.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 until the time of service at 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at the Young Funeral Home, Ltd., Butler, PA with Rev. John Neyman of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating.

Private burial.
