It says she died at the home of her son, A. L.--he was actually Alonzo Harris, so A.H. Medbery. However, she was living with Alonzo before her death, so that part is correct. The other person mentioned--Don G. Medbery--was actually her grandson. He was the son of William Chester Medbery, who was her other son and who was still alive at the time of her death--someone must have muddled the information somewhere along the way. Alonzo and William are Elivra's only two known children. The 1900 census said she had 2 of 2 children living. There would probably have been a more extensive obituary in the Huron, SD newspaper, but the relevant issue seems to no longer exist.
