Kenneth John Fawcett III, 64, of Hagerstown, Md, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14th, 2018. Kenneth was the beloved husband of Patricia Ryan Fawcett of Hagerstown, and cherished father of Kathleen Anne Fawcett of Hyattsville, Md., Emily Marie Fawcett of Seattle, Wa., and Elizabeth Patricia Fawcett of Annapolis, Md. Kenneth was born on November 20th, 1953, the son of the late Kenneth John Fawcett Jr. and Audrey Dixon Fawcett of Falls Church, Virginia. He is survived by his brothers Daniel Fawcett and wife Kathy of Springfield, Virginia, William Fawcett and wife Cindy of Harrisonburg, sister Anne Kidd and husband Craig of Roanoke, as well as his brother-in-law Thomas Ryan and wife Melory and sister-in-law Kathy Jacobs and husband Len, numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family. Kenneth graduated from Randolph Macon College as a Political Science major. He was a lifelong educator, having taught Social Studies and Government for over 30 years in the Loudoun County, Va. school system. He was honored as a finalist for Teacher of the Year and was admired by his students and colleagues alike. Kenneth was a passionate genealogist in his spare time, and traveled the country with his brother Dan researching their ancestry. His greatest life joy always remained being a father to his loving daughters.
