White Buffalo
White Buffalo, Kiowa Indian, aged 74 years, died Sunday of heart trouble at his home southeast of Carnegie. He was buried Monday at Rainy Mountain Mission.
Buffalo was laid to rest in rich Indian attire, his burial regalia costing several hundred dollars. He was a leader among the Ghost Dancers, Indians who accepted a religion not unlike the white man's spiritualism. White Buffalo was a "medium" and received messages from the dead for his people and communicated with God for them.
