Mrs. Adella Florence Flanders passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Sanborn, in Chelsea, about 11:15 p.m., Oct. 11th.

Mrs. Flanders was born in Tunbridge, Jan. 31, 1863, one of a family of eight children. She passed her early life and school days in Tunbridge. In April 1885, she was married to Frank H. Flanders of Tunbridge, who passed away in October 1885. Mrs. Flanders did housework at various places until 1897, when she went to Springfield, Mass., where she worked for five years. After that she kept house for her father, then she went to Orange to work until about thirty years ago she came to Chelsea, and has worked in Chelsea and Tunbridge as long as she was able, after which she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Will Blake, in Tunbridge, and her daughter, Mrs. Harry Sanborn, in Chelsea. For four years she had been in very poor health.
