Robert Deal Alley, 99, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023.
Robert was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1923 in Augusta, Kansas to Clifford William and Annabelle (Underwood) Alley.
Robert was united in marriage to Lillian Maxine "Mickie" Heaton in Wichita on October 28, 1945. They were married for 36 years until her passing in 1981.
Robert owned Alley Wholesale Lumber company for many years.
Robert was in the Navy in WWII on Midway and was a lifetime member of the Cosmopolitan Club in Wichita, Kansas.
Robert enjoyed all sports especially watching his 3 kids swim competitively, his nephew Bruce Lietzke play professional golf and the Hershberger boys wrestle for Kapaun. Most of all he loved his strawberry shakes.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Collette Baughman, son, Craig Alley; brother Buck Alley; grandkids, Spencer Jones, Nealey Bahm, Lane Volavka, True Parker, Lillie Parker and 15 great grandkids.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; daughter, Kirstie Alley; brother Fred Alley and sisters Elizabeth Lietzke and Gertrude Sparling.
Private services are scheduled at this time.
The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Kansas Humane Society, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.

His religion was Christianity, and he was married to Lillian Maxine "Mickie" Heaton. Robert died at the age of 84 years old in Kansas.
Bob and His wife were the parents of three children. Two daughters and a son. Their daughters names are Colette Alley and Kirstie Louise Alley, and their son's name is Craig Alley.
"Mickie" Alley was born on October 7, 1923 in Elm Creek, Buffalo County, Nebraska. She died on October 23rd, 1981 at the age of 58 years old in a a car accident in Kansas where the other driver was drunk.
Robert's famous American actress/celebrity daughter, Kirstie Louise Alley died at 71 years old on December 5, 2022 in Tampa, Florida after a short battle with cancer
