Frances attended schools in Belgrade and graduated in 1953.
She met Bill at a Clyde Park dance and they married in Bozeman, MT on November 3, 1957. They were married for 52 years before his death in 2009. Her parents and all eight of her siblings preceded her in death.
Frances never met a stranger; she was a people person. Her Clubs and Fellowship were the Springhill Presbyterian Church, the Eagles Auxiliary, Sons and Daughters of the Pioneers, the Red Hat Society, and both the Belgrade and Bozeman Senior Centers.
Her hobbies were gardening, canning, and baking. Frances was famous for her pies and cinnamon rolls. She loved music and dancing; Bill probably has her on heaven's dance floor right now. She loved camping and travel as much as Bill would allow her. Most important was her family!
Frances is survived by her daughter, Connie (Jerry) McGuire; son, Bob (Linda) Batchelder; stepdaughter, Billie Claude; grandchildren, Kalie (Brandon) Rice, Megan McGuire, Margo (Karen) Batchelder, Lisa (Bob) Barrett, Kevin and Craig Claude. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
