Julie was born on August 4, 1931 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Louise Fadlem Sr. and Mary (Ola) Fadlem.
Julie was a 1950 graduate of Follansbee High School and was involved in planning class reunions. During her teen years, she roller skated at the Key's Roller Rink in Follansbee, worked on Saturdays, Christmas vacations and during the summer months at McCrory's 5 & 10. After graduation, Julie worked at the Associated Credit Bureau until her marriage to George "Bill" Carr. Julie was a dedicated member of Colliers United Methodist Church, Colliers United Methodist Women, Greeter Coordinator, Church Women United and the Red Hat Divas.
In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by an infant son, David, first husband of 36 years, George "Bill" Carr, second husband of 29 years, Harry "Coup" Rocchio and a brother, Lou Fadlem Jr.
Julie is survived by three children, George Carr and his wife, Diane, of Toronto, OH, Sheila Carr and companion, Eric Deuley of Steubenville, OH and Brenda Roush and her husband, Bob of Toronto, OH, two step children, Barbara "Babs" Wilharm and her husband, Bill of Calabash, NC and David Rocchio and his wife, Marsha of Matthews, NC, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Jane Degenhardt of Rayland, OH, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved church family.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM at the Colliers United Methodist Church, Colliers, WV with Reverend Scott Mapes, officiating.
Interment will be private at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
