Peacefully with family by her side at her residence Saturday afternoon January 28, 2017. Alma Cruickshank (nee Lennox) of Shallow Lake in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Cruickshank (2005). Cherished mother of Gail and her husband George Mervyn of Shallow Lake, Jim and his wife Anne of RR 5, Owen Sound, Debbie and her husband Guy Barfoot of Kilsyth and Scott and his wife Tammy of Park Head. Loved grandmother of Ryan Mervyn (Shelley), Cindy Cruickshank (Sascha), Jeff Mervyn (Jen), Lance Barfoot (Ashly), Wade Barfoot (Taylor), Taylor Cruickshank and Madison Cruickshank and great grandmother of Kayle, Alissa, Sloan and Oaklyn Mervyn. Dear sister of Robert Lennox of Owen Sound and sister-in-law of Eveline Lennox of Clarksburg, Mary Lennox of Hanover, Doris Rochford of Kitchener and Bruce Radbourne, Betty Huston, Eileen Cruickshank, Jack (Bette) Cruickshank and Marg Bell all of Owen Sound. Missed by many nieces and nephews and her furry companions Benji and Maggie 2. Predeceased by sisters Doris Greig and Beatrice Radbourne and brothers Gordon and Murray. The funeral service will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Rev. Ed Laksmanis and Rev. Jack Tweddle officiating. Spring interment Boyd Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.
