Theresa Celia Weise, age 96, of Peshtigo, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI. She was born in Kenosha, WI, on September 24, 1926, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Valente) Tenuta.
Theresa was raised in Kenosha and married Forrest Edward Weise on February 15, 1947
Eventually they moved their family to Peshtigo. She had many unique and interesting jobs which she loved to talk about. She was known for her excellent cooking, especially her family favorite, Italian style meals.
Theresa is survived by, and greatly missed by, her 4 children: Tim (Denise) Weise of Austin, TX; Jeff Weise, Deb (Mark) Madden, Meg Harper all of Peshtigo, WI;
"Na Na" to 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren;
3 siblings: DeLoris Vernezze , Virginia "Jean" (Mrs. Raymond DeLaat ) DeLaat, and Albert Tenuta all of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband, Forrest;
2 sisters: Nancy DeMarino and Violet Salerno;
1 granddaughter Sara Opsahl ;
and son-in-law, Jim Harper.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 1st at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 4:00 until time of Service at 6:00 pm with Father John Harper officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
