Donald D. Thorley, 72, of Peshtigo, WI, passed away, May 15, 2023. He was born April 14, 1951 son of the late Wilford and Dorothy (Scott) Thorley.
He married the former Carrie Ikkala on August 26, 1972.
Don worked at Badger Paper Mill in Peshtigo, WI for over 30 years and then at Casting Services in Menominee, MI for 5 years.
He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan, enjoyed playing baseball, riding his Harley and loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending all their school and sports events.
Don is survived by his wife Carrie;
2 daughters: Kimberly (Jeremy) Tietyen of Oak Creek, WI and Marianne (Thomas) Evancheck of Peshtigo, WI;
his grandchildren: Jacob, Benjamin, Caroline, Michael and "adopted" grandson, Colt.
Also survived by a sister Dorothy Ann Mitchell, of Munising, MI
and a brother Bruce (Donna) Thorley, of Gowen, Michigan.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Winifred Derusha.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 22nd at Faith Lutheran Church (4009 Irving St.) in Marinette from 9:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Pastor Jim Kreger officiating.
