Raymond Francis Michalski, 73, of Green Bay, WI and formally of Peshtigo, WI, died on October 1, 2023. He was born on September 14, 1950, son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Race) Michalski.
Raymond served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
On November 15th, 2016, he married the former Tia Miziul.
Raymond was employed locally at Badger Paper for many years prior to moving to Green Bay, WI.
In 2019 he was able to go to our Nation's Capital on the Old Glory Honor Flight and was thankful for the opportunity to do so.
An avid Packer fan he treasured watching the games with his friend Joel and brothers Richard and Roger whenever possible, in the last seven years he never missed a game.
He is survived by his wife, Tia;
a daughter Sarah Michalski;
two sons: Matt Michalski and Zak (Tanya) Michalski ~~their mother Marlene;
two grandchildren: Cyle Michalski and Cassidy Michalski;
two brothers: Roger (Judith) Michalski and Richard (Judith) Michalski.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and Ronald;
very special friend and brother in law Joel Miziul .
Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday October 13th at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral home from 11:00 to time of service at 1:00 pm with Father John Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo with military honors.
