Pine Level - Helen Inez Crawford Price, age 85, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015. Born March 15, 1930 in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Charlotte Anderson Crawford. Helen graduated LaGrange High School, LaGrange NC in 1948 and attended Lenoir and Johnston Community College. She graduated from Wayne Community College and retired from the State of N.C. in 1992. She offered selfless and devoted love to her family and friends. Her creative mind enhanced and exceded wherever it was applied. Her love for music, oil painting, and dancing gave her much joy. Not only was she talented, but she had the unique gift of recognizing and appreciating the talents of others. Her sense of humor, contagious laughter, kind heart and her beautiful smile allowed her to walk through life with love. Her love filled her home with that attitude and she always had love for one more. Deborah "Baby Duck" Gray, Ellen and Bobby Craft, and Debbie Phillips, have known that love. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Virginia and Eunice Lee Crawford; her husbands, William R. Jenkins, Wilfred Blake Stotler, and Henry Blake Price. She is survived by her children, Gloria and Stephen Price of Fairfax Station, Virginia, Wanda and Brooks Rasor of Kinston, North Carolina, Donna and Jeff Vilagi of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, William R. Jenkins, Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina, Susan and George Jenkins of Austin, Texas. Stepsons, Joe and Gigi Price of Selma, North Carolina and Blake Price of Selma, North Carolina. Twelve Grandchildren, Eighteen great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Dr. Dannie Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm just prior to the service.
