Deborah J. Adams, 69, of Newville, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. She was born on October 16, 1954, in Carlisle and is a daughter of Mary Jeannean (Fink) Shoop of Carlisle and the late N. Richard Jones.
Deb graduated from Big Spring High School with the class of 1972. She retired after many years of service with Drayer Physical Therapy in Shippensburg. Deb cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed bird watching and stargazing with her husband Tom, and was well loved by the many canines she and her family had over the years. She formerly attended Newville Assembly of God.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years Thomas L. Adams, two sons, Jason W. (wife Jennifer) Adams of New Cumberland and Mark A. (wife Jennifer) Adams of Doylestown, one brother Richard Jones of Carlisle, one sister Rebecca Garrity of Tequesta, FL, three grandchildren, Cooper Thomas Adams, Rex Carl Adams and Naomi Dean Adams, stepmother Eleanor Butler and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a stepmother Louetta Jones and a stepfather Luther Shoop.
A viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Jeffrey Kettering officiating. The burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Appalachian Audobon Society, P.O.
