Son of Ralph Matzinger and Minnie Zeigler,
Raymond R. Matzinger, age 83, of Swanton, passed away January 20, 2003, at St. Luke's Hospital. Ray was a custodian for Swanton High School and Crestwood School for 19 years before he retired in 1989. Prior to that he worked for many years at Rupp Hatchery. Ray was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Ellen; daughter, Susan (Tom) Ritter of Swanton and son, Steven Matzinger of Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Taft and Theresa Ritter both of Swanton and Melissa Warncke and Jamie Matzinger both of Ft. Wayne.
Friends may call at the Biehl-Malone Funeral Home Swanton from 3-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2003, where funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2003, at 12 p.m. Rev.
