Daughter of John Hamilton Tims and Tamer Frances Richardson Mills. Wife of Joseph S. Mills. Her exact burial location or date of death is unknown. Her year of birth and location was taken from census records. Her date of death would have been sometime between 20-Feb-1887 (birth of her second child) and 25-Dec-1892 (date of marriage for her husband and second wife, Frances E. Murley Waller. Other than census records and her marriage to Joseph S. Mills in Hardeman County, the only record I can find for her is a Delayed Birth Certificate for her second, and last child, in Tuckerman, Jackson County, Arkansas.

Joseph S. Mills and Nancy C. Tims were married 12-Apr-1885 in Hardeman County, Tennessee. They had two children together; James Manson Mills and Barbara Ethel Mills. Their son was born in Tennessee, their daughter in Arkansas. Since her grave is unmarked, exact burial location is unknown. Based on the period of her death, a sister being buried in this cemetery, her mother likely being buried here, and both her paternal grandparents buried in this cemetery, it would seem to be a likely location. If anyone has proven information regarding her burial location, or further information on her family, I would love to hear from you.

Nancy Tims Mills was my 2X Great Grandmother. Her daughter, Barbara Ethel Mills Ferguson Crook was my Great Grandmother.
