MDewitt Grady, 81, died at his home in the Indian Springs community on Monday
morning, September 18.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Adams Grady; and his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Diane Grady also of Dudley; and his three grandsons.
Being an only child, DeWitt was preceded in death by his parents; Zebulon Vance and Ethel Holmes Grady.
DeWitt served his community as a long time member of the Indian Springs Volunteer Fire Department. He and his wife were members of May's Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, at eleven o'clock in the morning at
Wayne Memorial Park, Dudley.. The Rev. Jeff Daughtry and Rev. Sherman Dilley will officiate the service with
visitation immediately following at the cemetery. The members of Indian Springs Volunteer Fire
Department will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
