Mrs Brewer was the daughter of the late John and Emma Heidel Basler and had many Morgan County relatives, including several brothers.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Wesley Methodist Church in Etowah, she was a member. Burial was in the Greenhill Cemetery there.
Survivors include her husband Louis Brewer, one daughter., Mrs. Ernest Bearfield, Etowah, a step-daughter, Mrs. Ruth Nicely of Knoxville, a step-son Harry Brewer in California, a half-sister, Mrs. Alfred Erankenburg, Knoxville, three brothers, Charles Basler, Lexington, Ky., George Basler, Wartburg, Rt.1 and Harry Basler, Oakdale, eight half-brothers, Fred and Walter Basler, Rt. 1 Wartburg, Otto and Bob Basler, Knoxville, Jake Basler, Oakdale, Bill Oak Ridge, Martin, Petros and Ted of Harriman, Rt. 3.
