The Lincoln Star (Lincoln, Nebraska), January 27, 1931: Death at Wymore. Wymore, Neb., Jan. 27 -- Edward Vernon, 23, died at his home in Wymore Monday after a year's illness. He was born at Blue Springs, where his mother still resides. He had been employed as a machinist for the Burlington at Wymore for about eighteen years and served one term as city councilman two years ago. He is survived by his widow, two sons, 10 and 3 years old, his mother, three brothers, a twin living in California, Horace. Blue Springs, Wilbur, living in Wymore; two sisters, Ruth Matthews of Peru, Neb., and Miss Alice, employed by the Welfare society at Lincoln.
