Mr. Wilcox was well and favorably known. He was born in Lisbon on March 9, 1868 to William and Ellen Castle Wilcox. He moved with his parents in 1876 to near his late residence on Canton road, and for thirty years had resided in this immediate neighborhood. For a number of years he was a well-known milk vendor in this city.
He was educated in the Ogdensburg city schools and attended the Ogdensburg Free academy. About fifteen years ago he married Ella R. Goodenough, whose very recent death he sincerely mourned. He will be missed by his children, his family and a host of friends. By virtue of his sterling character he formed firm and lasting friendships. The sympathy of the community is extended to the family and friends who mourn his loss.
