ADAMY – Keenan S., 45, Johnstown, died May 26, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 29, 1962, in Johnstown, son of William and Joan (Bunk) Adamy Sr. Survived by parents; brothers, William Jr., married to the former Patricia Vargo; Cordell Adamy; and Shawn, and fiance, Eve Schmidtetter, all of Johnstown; and sisters, Suzanne, and fiancée, Kenneth Duplechain, Florida, and Annalee, married to Ira Biss, Johnstown. Also survived by nephews, William, James, Ben, Tyler and Brycen. Keenan will also be sadly missed by many close friends whom he considered his second family. A U.S. Army veteran and Pennsylvania National Guardsman serving with the HHC 1-103rd Armor, Mortar Platoon out of Walters Avenue. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved spending time outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Keenan was an organ donor through CORE. A member of the Minersville PNA. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Pastor Scott Klimke. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Published in the Johnstown Tribune Democrat from 5/27/2008 - 5/29/2008.
