Paul H. Andres died June 11, 2003, 11 days short of his 93rd birthday. Born in Wassau, Wiscon- sin on June 22, 1910, he was an area resident for over 70 years, a former member of the Eagles, a member of the Teamsters and the Operating Engineers unions, and a founding member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Paul started his own contracting business in 1949 doing custom tractor work, and later went on to own one of the first backhoes in the area. Paul continued to run his contracting and backhoe business until his retirement. Paul is survived by children Paul (Jennifer) Andres, Fircrest; Lynne Andres-Freeman, Allyn, WA; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 16, 2003, 11:00 am, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
