Margaret F. Burton, 85, a longtime resident of Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, died Oct. 7, 2005, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Mrs. Burton was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy in Windsor. She loved flowers and gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L., in 2002. The couple were wed May 18, 1939, in Detroit. Her brother, Bud Lynch, is also deceased.
Survivors included her children, Robert J. (Rosemary) of Royal Oak and Michael S. of Cape Coral, Fla.; lifelong friends Terry and Fred Peltier; and grandchildren, Robert of Berkley, Lori of Florida and Brittany of Royal Oak.
