Funeral services for Lulu Allen, 91, of Garden Valley, were held Monday, April 3 at Chapel of the Pines. Entombment at Garden Crypts in the Placerville Union cemetery. The Rev. Richard Dewsnap of the Garden Valley Chapel conducted the servies.
Mrs. Allen died March 30 in a local convalescent hospital. She was born in Mason City, Iowa, and lived 14 years in California, the past seven years in El Dorado county.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. Allen, a widow, is survived by children Lila M. Schmidt of Garden Valley, Austin Furman of Topeka, Kansas and Harry Furman of Kansas City, Missouri; sister Amanda Routh of Witchita, Kansas; and eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
