There she learned the dressmaking and millinery business in Ogdensburg and for about six years she worked in an establishment in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After returning to Ogdensburg, she married Clarence D. Tracy, of Massena, on December 25, 1889. He died on October 16, 1931.
Since her marriage, she has lived on the Tracy farm at Tracy's Landing. The farm is now in the fifth generation of the Tracy family.
